The installation of the conveyor belt longitudinal cutting combination blade should follow the principle of "centering the blade" to ensure that the upper and lower blade axes are symmetrical and the gap is uniform, in order to achieve efficient and precise cutting.
Benchmark setting: Based on the transmission side (motor reducer side), determine the position of the first disc of the upper and lower cutter shafts, taking into account the width of the raw material, the number of slitting, and the assembly conditions of the cutter shaft.
Use a fixed distance collar to secure the first disc of the upper cutter shaft.
The axial distance between the second cutterhead and the first cutterhead is the strip width b '+two gaps (calculated based on the thickness of the strip steel).
The distance between the third disc and the second disc is b '- two disc thicknesses - two clearances.
The distance between the fourth disc and the third disc is b '+two clearances, and so on to complete the assembly of the upper cutter shaft.
Starting from the inner side of the first disc of the upper blade shaft, add a gap inward to position the first disc of the lower blade shaft.
The spacing between the subsequent cutting discs is set according to b '- thickness of two cutting discs - two gaps, and installed in sequence.
Check and adjust: After installation, use a caliper to check the position of the cutterhead and a feeler gauge to check the clearance accuracy, ensuring that the parallelism and symmetry errors are controlled within 10mm.
In addition, before installation, it is necessary to clean the blade shaft, blades, and spacers to confirm that there are no burrs or oil stains; The blade direction should face the discharge side and cannot be reversed; It is recommended to use accessories of the same batch and precision for the upper and lower blades, with a thickness difference of ≤ 0.005mm.
